Sunday Food

Figured we needed something yummy to eat while watching the big game. I have one guaranteed dish: peanut butter cookies with Hershey’s hugs and kisses, and one risky new dish: Chicken Tikka Masala.

The cookies are much more photogenic than the still marinating chicken, and, at this stage, certainly more delicious. Hopefully the chicken turns out to be a winner!

p.s. Isn’t my new cake plate lovely? This one is the smallest of three…thanks, Mom!

So I finally got around to upgrading the website to the latest version of wordpress. Thank goodness I remembered Lee having trouble with this like two years back and went through the hassle of backing up the database… because, of course, I needed it! Thank goodness for 24 x 7 1-800 support numbers.

Anyways, alot of boring details later and www.christineanddan.com is back up and running! For our true fans, I am sure that was a rough 24 hours.

Now I know the website doesn’t look much different, but I did install a new spam plugin to hopefully prevent the thousands of “I love your website. Click here to try my new hemroid cream” comments I have been getting, and, better yet, we now have a brand new shoutbox that should hopefully eliminate the garbage shout-outs that always get in the way of the real good shout-outs.

Well, fingers crossed we are on our way to a spam-free 2011!
